To celebrate Aveda’s 40th anniversary this fall, the brand is relaunching one of its very first products ever. Aveda’s new Cherry Almond shampoo and conditioner ($17 each) was launched as Cherry Almond Bark Conditioner in 1978, by Aveda’s founder Horst Rechelbacher, and became a fan favorite for 30 years. It was on shelves until just over a decade ago when it was discontinued.

Upon request from fans and Aveda artists, it is now back with a shampoo for the first time, a shorter name and “an improved formula.”

Cherry Almond Softening Shampoo is housed in a 100% PCR HDPE bottle with disc top cap. Cherry Almond Softening Conditioner is in a 59% PCR HDPE tube and up to 41% bioplastic tube with a flip top cap.
